About

I am an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Alfaisal University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where I currently serve as Chair of the Mathematics & Computer Science Department. My research interests center on inverse problems, nonlinear partial differential equations, fractional and nonlocal models, and computational applied mathematics. A significant part of my work is devoted to the mathematical analysis and numerical treatment of direct and inverse problems arising in elasticity, diffusion phenomena, and complex dynamical systems. I am particularly interested in parameter identification, Bayesian inference, mathematical modeling, and the development of rigorous analytical and computational methods for nonlinear systems.

Over the years, my research has led to collaborations across applied mathematics, engineering, and interdisciplinary modeling, with publications in areas including fractional diffusion equations, elastoplasticity, inverse coefficient problems, and mathematical models of biological and social dynamics. In parallel with research, I am deeply committed to mathematics education and academic leadership. Through both teaching and mentorship, I strive to cultivate clarity of thought, intellectual discipline, and independent reasoning-guided by the principle of elegance in thought and precision in method.
